Hi, i'm Connie, owner and principal driving instructor at U Can Do It! Driving School. I teach people how to drive safely, confidently and successfully. I look forward to helping you achieve your driving goals.
On this page, you will find the different services on offer, what is involved, pricing and availability.
IMPORTANT: When selecting your type of lesson, please ensure it is the driver's details that are entered on the booking page.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- A lesson is 90 minutes at $160 for either manual or automatic driving.
- A 1 hour pre-test lesson plus car hire are available for students.
- Car options are either:
- The School's automatic or manual car
- Your own automatic car
- We offer driving lessons to physically disabled people. The automatic car is fitted with driving controls for people with disability.
- Night driving only on request. Not applicable to first lesson. Night driving does not triple in time in the logbook.
When using your own car please ensure it is and has:
- Roadworthy
- Registered
- Fully functioning indicators and lights to driving test standard
- Full tank of fuel
- Hygienic and clean
- Decluttered of potential hazards during lessons
A 90 MINUTES LESSON COVERS
- Parking (forward, reverse, parallel)
- Full range of gears (using the clutch & shifting)
- Roundabouts
- Changing lanes
- Reading and responding to traffic
- 3 point turns
- U-turns
- Straight-line reversing
- Give way and stop signs
- Controlled and uncontrolled interactions, pedestrians, cyclists.
- Every 90mins of your day time driving with an accredited trainer counts for 270mins in your logbook (90mins:270mins), this applies up to a maximum of 10 driving lesson hours / 30 logbook hours (10h:30h).
- All hours after the 10 initial hours with the instructor must be recorded in your logbook in real-time (1h:1h).

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Last minute cancellations and no-shows impede learning and impose on space that another could have utilised.
- This policy is in respect and honouring of this principle.
- 100% cancellation fee applies within 48 hours notice of lesson date.
